
(Nasi Lemak) Steamed coconut rice, is a traditional Malay rice dish that is popular in Singapore. The fragrant rice is cooked in rich coconut milk and usually eaten with chicken, anchovies (ikan bilis), egg, pickled vegetables and a dollop of spicy sambal chilli.
A perfect festive dish with fresh ingredients but also a great way to spruce up leftovers.
Add onion, SpicePaste©, bacon and pumpkin; stir-fry for 5 minutes.
Place 2 tbsp of rice across the centre of leaf and top with carrot, cucumber and mushroom filling.
A versatile recipe which works well with rice, noodles or pasta.
